Bless you. Gesundheit.

Tweeze and sneeze. I quite often find that many of my clients sneeze while I tweeze or

microblade their brows.

“The reason that many people sneeze when they tweeze their eyebrows is that the eyebrows and the nose are both innervated by the trigeminal nerve,” says New York dermatologist Eric Schweiger, MD. “When the trigeminal nerve is stimulated by eyebrow tweezing, this causes excitement of the nerve in the nasal area as well…which can lead to a sneeze.”

Overall, the face is the most sensitive areas of the body. Another effect is your eyes watering up and/or tearing along with the sneezing. It always fascinates me how our body works and how everything is connected in someway or the other. If after your brow appointment you are feeling like you walked out with a cold or just watched a romantic chic flick, don’t fret its completely normal!
